No practical experience in carrying out this task.

Experience Assisting Others

You have worked alongside a skilled tradesperson carrying out this task and understand the general process. You may be able to prepare materials, pass tools, maintain cleanliness and assist proactively, but you could not complete the task yourself without further guidance.

Experience Under Supervision

You have completed this task before under guidance or in a college environment. You can complete the task, but you may require guidance, checking, or assistance from a more experienced person.

Competent

You can complete this task independently without supervision. You can plan materials, organise the work, problem-solve, and complete the task to an acceptable professional standard. There may still be room to improve speed, efficiency, or level of rework.

Highly Skilled

You have extensive experience in this area. You can self-manage the task from start to finish, troubleshoot confidently, maintain a consistently high-quality finish, and lead or instruct others when needed. Your output meets or exceeds normal industry expectations.

I Do Not Like This Task

You are capable of carrying out this task, but generally dislike doing it and would prefer not to be asked to do it. If you’re great at floor tiling but your knees hurt, choose this option.
